Volunteer Age Requirements: We ask that children 10-14 years old volunteer with a parent. Children over 14 may volunteer with parental permission.

Holiday event at Gus Garcia this Saturday. Please come early for parking. If you can arrive Carol’s and begin packing at 8:30 AM, that will help a lot. They expect 400 people for the holiday event all over the grounds. Parking will be difficult past 9:30 AM.
This shift requires heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and adaptability to work where needed. Our insurance requires a copy of your auto insurance if you are transporting food for us. We start at 9:30 AM at Carol’s to pack food and transport it to Gus Garcia. If you are going only to Gus Garcia for setup, their doors open just before 10:00 AM.

- Pack food and move from nearby storage using personal vehicles.
- Unload vehicles.
- Arrange foods on tables at pantry.
- Set room up for pantry.
- Line up chairs in hallway.
