How to get there
The pantry is located in the Gustavo “Gus” L. Garcia Recreation Center, across E. Rundberg Lane from Dobie Middle School and College Prep Academy. Gustavo “Gus” L. Garcia Recreation Center is located near the intersection of E. Rundberg Lane and Interstate 35. Enter through the front lobby and sign in.
Parking: In front of Gustavo “Gus” L. Garcia Recreation Center.
Public Transit: Located on CapMetro bus route 325.

- Seating and tables are available in the lobby of the building
- Lobby opens at 10:00 AM (pantry does not open until 12:00 PM)
Sign In On Arrival
Sign-up begins at 11:45 AM. You do not have to sign up in advance. We will collect the following information:
- Your name and age
- Total number of people in your household
- Number of people in your household under the age of 18
- If you are unhoused
What to Bring
All people are welcome!
- Please bring at least two bags with you if possible
- When you arrive, fill your bags as limits allow from the tables of donated items
What Kind of Food is Available?
We provide mostly donated food from local grocers, restaurants, and other food industry sources, as well as other food pantries. We also purchase shelf stable pantry items to supplement donated foods.
The donated foods are similar to those you would see on mark down at a grocery store. Some may be out of date.
