Coffee, Java, Joe, Super Power In A Mug

Coffee, Java, Joe, Super Power In A Mug, all names for that dark colored liquid in the cup. We have been so blessed at our pantry to receive gourmet coffee from Whisha coffee and Sprouts Farmers Market on 183. We generally get a few boxes of the coffee that is close to date or is not moving well. Once in a while though, it is a pallet or more and we scramble to load it all and arrange storage. Today’s donation totaled 498 pounds. Exciting for everyone.

Coffee comes from all over. Some of the coffee comes marked as Fair Trade, some is Organic. So many different designs on the packages to entice us. The coffee varies from mild to Dark roast to Espresso and both decaf and full caffeine which lets everyone select which they prefer. We will pair this up with liquid creamer selections from the Canteen for a full Ah coffee experience.

We have a fantastic couple who grinds the whole bean coffee so we can bring it to the pantry ready to brew. We do give out about 1/2 as whole beans and we donate ground coffee regularly to the Charlie Center for the homeless who come there for meals.

If you need a daily Coffee message we can share those too
