Thanks to Carol’s Kindness for providing food to cook for the warming centers. We fed 16 at St. Andrew’s Church this morning with oatmeal, fruit, crescent rolls and apple cider. Tuesday and Wednesday was breakfast tacos and an added on Wednesday as biscuits and gravy. We filled these guys up really good to be able to tolerate the cold afternoons.
FYI I have info on the warming center to St Andrew’s Church, 14311 Wells Port, 78728. Opens each day at 5pm during the freeze serving food, a bed for the night. On bus route 243. No checkin through the city as this is a church.
